This group of elite soldiers was the first formed army of the Waterborne after their arrival in Novus. They had brought with them their large northern mammoths that had once been extinct until cloning made that a thing of the past. Many of the men affected by the great curse of the north, did not know that they had any special capabilities at all until the mammoth was brought back into the world. It appears that many of the Waterborne men specifically seem to have a natural connection with the beasts and can communicate with them on a basic level. Each mammoth picks a master but only one and it is for life. The Norsemen are those men who have been chosen to ride.

Rule:

Place behind 1 card in the neutral area and protect it.At the beginning OR end of your turns, protect 1 card from a different Community (color) in same row at an equal or less value. If not in the neutral area, you may protect any value. Protected cards move with this card. If removed, move two of the protected cards to Allies.
