The obelisk turns out to be an ancient weapon that has been lost for centuries which is heavily radioactive. Some of the group gets sick and others seem to grow in strength and power as if they have an immunity to the sickness. But then they go too far when messing with the obelisk…

Rule:

Place face down in Round Effect. Move the next card drawn into the neutral area valued at 10 or greater to your Loyalists. If a negative value card appears first, move that card to your Loyalists instead. Once revealed, remove effect.
