Rupture was the first developmental echo used in a confidential special forces project called Atmosphere. This top-secret operation would require robots who could withstand areas and climates that humans considered too dangerous to risk their own lives. The training and missions caused a shift in the consciousness of Rupture. This change escalated and caused his A.I. to alter and change beyond its programmed limitations. Sentience took over. He now understood that he was expendable to the humans. This did not process well. He took his skills to Cloudecho in the beginning of its formation and then declared his loyalty to the new division within called Animus.
