Typically some of the older, wiser men (always men for some reason) that have lived through the trials and tribulations of a changing planet take on the role of Keeper of Records. Each city usually has one of these social hermits who sit and reverse the technologies of the world by taking digital records and converting them to paper again. Our history cannot be lost and with so much unknown, this job has become vital.
